Honda records 4.8 lakh unit sales
Honda two-wheeler sales cross 4.82 lakh in September 2021
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) announced its sales figures for September 2021, with total sales recorded at 4,826,756 units. In the domestic market, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recorded sales of 4,63,679 units, while exports amounted to 19,077 units. According to HMSI, market sentiment has increased thanks to the new models, with customer sentiment increasing, and Honda’s domestic sales are up 12% from August 2021 sales figures of 4. 30,683 units (including 4,01,469 units in the domestic market and 29,214 units in the export markets).

Commenting on this month’s sales, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director of Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are regaining momentum with each passing month witnessing an increase in customer requests. The coming months will be decisive in determining the growth forecasts with the most anticipated festival period of the year quickly approaching. Our network across India is fully equipped and ready to delight customers with their favorite Honda two-wheeler. “

In September 2021, HMSI began deliveries of its brand new Honda CB200X crossover motorcycle. Designed for daily commuting around town, as well as weekend tours, the Honda CB200X was offered at a price of 1,44,500 (excluding showroom). Honda has also bolstered its customer base in Bihar, becoming the choice of the state’s 10 lakh families. Honda also launched the Honda BigWing virtual showroom in September, which will prioritize safety while strengthening digital engagement with customers.
